wooden speed boats & cruisers

We repair almost anything on wooden boats, and restore as it was.

When possible, we use the original Chris Craft documentation to achieve the best result.

Renovating your interior to a more modern outlook or have your boat more adapted to modern times, like the electricals and electronic equipment.

We rebuild engines and or other mechanical parts to bring your boat alive again.

Upgrade for a reason, is simply to the fact that some parts are not only worn out, but also to keep your boat safe. Reliability is what you like to have on the water, all the time.

We like to work on Chris Craft wooden boats most of the time, which are known for:

  • Craftsmanship
  • Wonderful design
  • Beautiful Mahogany Woodwork
  • Great Maneuverability
  • Functional Instruments
  • Well Engineered & Documentation

But, don't hesitate, we do other fine wooden boats too..

marine inboard propulsion

We are specialized in marine inboard propulsion installs. Now, what does that mean?

We have the experience, tools and materials, to install your inboard engine back in your boat, after a repair or rebuild.

We specialize in older engines, like Chris Craft Marine (Hercules) or Chris Craft 283, 327, 350 platforms based on the Small Block Chevrolet (SBC).

Transmissions, I/O drives are handled, case by case, and depends on, in what condition they are when the engine arrives.

Props, propshaft, shaft seals are also handled case by case, and like the transmissions, depending on their condition.

In our shop, we have a motor test stand, where we can install and test your engine before it returns in your boat. We like to have a troublefree installation.

marine electronics & electrical

Having 120V AC or 12/24V DC is a must when you stay longer than a day out with your boat.

We engineer and install your 120/240V AC cabling sytems on your boat, to provide electricity where you like. We take care of the entire system including the inverter, AC breaker panels with breakers, a ground system typical for a boat, and necessary requirements according to ABYC ch. xyz

Thanks to the electricity provided, you can connect Electronical Devices to make your boat ride, a safe, entertainable and pleasureable outing.

We install marine electronic devices and everything else what is required to make your equipment work.

We do the following jobs in our workshop:

ac/dc energy systems

Without electricity, you can't cool your drinks in the fridge, no matter what size...

AC & DC electricity is required to keep your power available.

A simple engine battery for starting your engine is minimum, but when your boat is a little bigger and may have a cabin on deck, it makes sense to install another battery at least.

That another battery is usually not the same as your -engine- (starting) battery.

For equipment and devices you better use a different type of battery, called -deep cycle- battery.

Nowadays we have -deep cycle- battery technology in:

 - FLA (Flood Lead Acid

- AGM (Absorbent Glass Matt)

- LiPoFe4 ("Lithium").

A battery choice is a matter of:

- what do have you now?

- costs?

- latests technology?

- capacity do you need?

- does your other equipment support your new battery setup?

- and more..
