Yes, we rebuild engines or other mechanical parts to bring your boat alive again.

Yes, we upgrade for a reason, simply to the fact that some parts are not only worn out, but also to keep the boat safe. Reliability is what you like to have on the water, every time.

We work on Chris Craft wooden boats most of the time, which are known for:

  • Craftsmanship
  • Wonderful design
  • Beautiful Mahogany Woodwork
  • Great Maneuverability
  • Functional Instruments
  • Well Engineered & Documented

YES, we do other fine wooden boats too..

Before you upgrade your boat, check what really matters, make a list of must have's and nice to have's...or start here

marine inboard propulsion

marine inboard propulsion

We are specialized in marine inboard propulsion installs. Now, what does that mean?

We have the tools, the materials, the experience and know how to install your inboard engine back in your boat, after a repair or rebuild.

We do older engines too, like Chris Craft Marine (Hercules), Chris Craft 283, 327, 350, Chrysler 318 or older and all other platforms based on the Small Block Chevrolet (SBC).

Transmissions, I/O drives are handled, case by case, and depends on, in what condition they are when the engine arrives.

Props, propshaft, shaft seals are also handled case by case, and like the transmissions, depending on their condition.

In our shop, we have a motor test stand. Before we install the engine with its props back in the boat, every installation will be thoroughly tested in the motor test stand.

We know, that boat engines are not only run Wide Open Throttle (WOT), but also in a more smoother state, like half-WOT. To ensure that the engine , transmission, propshaft and prop are vibration free during all RPM's, we test the entire setup in our motor test stand.

Off course, we can build and test the entire inboard engine install in your boat. This guarantees you a troublefree installation.

ac/dc energy systems

ac/dc energy systems

For all your convenience, devices, equipment and your batteries, AC & DC power is required to keep that all under charge.

A simple engine battery for starting your engine is minimum, but when your boat is a little bigger and may have a cabin on deck, it makes sense to install another battery at least.

That another battery is usually not the same as your -engine- (starting) battery.

For equipment and devices you better use a different type of battery, called -deep cycle- battery.

As battery technology heavily evolved the last couple years, the -deep cycle- battery can be in FLA (Flood Lead Acid0, AGM (Absorbent Glass Matt) or LiPoFe4 ("Lithium").

A battery choice is a matter of:

- what do have you now?

- keep costs down?

- do you want latests technology?

- what capacity do you need?

- is your other equipment ready to support your new battery setup?

- and more..
