Work In Progress
This boat arrived with a big Chrysler Marine Engine. We don't know yet, if that was a good choice. Further research is required. The boat looks in pretty good condition and will get a sanding soon.

Inspection planned for coming June.

Work In Progress
This Constellation did not get maintenance for more than 30 years! Some neccessary repairs to keep her afloat, but that was it, sad... However, she is still strong and therefore, I like to give her the repais she need. I'll start with the keel, than bottom planks, transom planks and hull planks replacement.
When the woodwork is done, the engine engine will need serious maintenance, dash repairs and new wires to have everything working again.
All of our work done, is according to regulated body's, like USCG, ABYC, NABCEP regulations.
Although many parts of the interior/exterior are not in bad shape, it needs some refreshment and "modernization" to make the cabin convenient.
The jewelry needs a good polish and then we'll see what may need a new layer of chrome.
Finally, an entire paint/varnish job should make this old Lady pride again.

Work In Progress
This 1956 Continental 23ft classical boat has a wonderful line. However, to keep this boat in good condition, it will need some board replacements, an engine rebuild, upholstery repair, a very good polish of all chrome jewelry, new electrical cables, wires, switches, connectors and for sure many layers of stain and varnish.
The bottom received a 3M 5200 bottom earlier, but the trimwork around it was not as good as expected. Although the outer chine rails are gone, the bottom looks okay for now. After one layer of sanding, we'll see if we can add some new layers of Petit Racing Copper Bronze.
Currently, this Continental has a 327 engine, but to get this engine alive again, we decided to rebuild the 327 engine entirely.
There are many pictures taken, for having an overview of repairs. Updates/uploads can be daily. It gives you an idea what an average wooden boat, like this Continental will need..
Repairs are started..
The list of repairs on all wooden parts of this boat need serious attention.
Pictures says more than 1000 words, so make your own conclusion.
As always, I like to go through a certain order of repairs, let's call it a process for now.
Many jobs are repeating, like taking old screws out. I have created a table where you can oversee which jobs needs to be done, and you'll recognize which jobs are repeating ones.
Some of these repeating jobs can be done quick, others are tough and time consuming.
