> about us

Craftsmanship for me, is about common sense practices, well planned, well organized, patience, and a meticulous critical eye for detail.

Skills over the years, are not developed overnight, therefore, do it once and right.

I like high quality, and do not mind getting some transpiration to achieve that or it takes a bit more time. For example a job like curing with epoxy can take longer due to humidity conditions. It takes time to get the ultimate result.

It's always worth the waiting, just a matter of patience.

Not to forget...

I'm used to operate alone most of the time and sometimes I work together with customers. I have some retired workers, to help me now and then. If you have no problem to make your hands dirty, we can operate as a team. Saves me and you some transpiration, right? Come over for one or more days, pull up your sleeves and learn a skill.

LAKE BLACKSHEAR - VIENNA - GEORGIA

Lake Blackshear GA, also named Georgia Veteran State Park is 15 minutes away from my workshop and our Fruits of Vienna B&B. It's at Lake Blackshear, where all our boat projects hit the water. Come over and enjoy a unique, mystique but beautiful scenery in the South.

BIO

Hello, it's me, William Adrian.

I'm a Tech for more than 40 years...in Mechanical-, Electrical-, IT, Automotive & Marine Engineering at corporate manufacturers level.

In our workshop, I take care of wooden speed boats and cruisers up to 40ft (max. 48ft).

I do repair, maintenance, renovation, and restoring jobs on the hull, bottom, deck, transom and more, of wooden boats. I do the old school jobs, but I do plenty of projects to modernize wooden boats equipment to make them less maintenance sensitive. It starts from upgrading your current gauges, to an MFD next to your existing gauges. Structured wiring and cabling, with marine, military proof plug and play harnesses, which are perfect for digital switching.

In case you have a bigger boat, it's most of the time equipped for longer trips. Energy supply (electrical & gasoline) and Monitoring becomes more important to keep it going.

To have an overview, what's up and be alerted in time, when it's out or failing, an MFD is very helpful. If you have an older boat and it needs an upgrade to modern equipment, you're at the right address. Together we make a plan, what, how and when, so you stay in charge to keep your boat floating.

OUR PROP

"Your prop or my prop, either way, should turn..."

Satisfaction is my #1 priority, and I can achieve only that, when we both have agreed about, details, conditions and every dollar well spend.

TEAM

We like to work with good helpers. However, good helpers are rare.

Usually, I can always count on my wife Els and some white ravens, who love to work on a beautiful project.

Some boat owners like to do jobs by themselves, but don't have the capacity to do a bigger project. Don't hesitate to make your hands dirty! We have the space, the tools, the knowledge and most of all, good old social manners...just ask!

FRUITS OF VIENNA B&B

Since 2012

Our 110+ years old B&B, Fruits of Vienna, is visited by many guests from all over...

After 3 years of restoring, renovating, renewing, walls, floors, doors, bed & bathrooms, kitchen, cabling, plumbing, construction and more, our B&B opened its doors in 2015. Since then, we're regular business for many people ( www.fruitsofvienna.com ).

In 2018, we acquired our own first Chris Craft from Michigan, and brought it to Vienna. Another passion fulfilled our love for artisanal art and history.

If you have a question about services or products, please contact us by Text or Email!

I do pick up the phone, but if your number is not in my database, it may take a while. It is easier to send me a text, with your name and a brief question.

As many others, I get robo-, insurance- or whatever calls and don't have time for that.

I'll get in touch with you shortly,

Thanks William
